Learn About Our Process

  • Creation of a Request for Proposal document for the purposes of selecting all technology vendors and system integrators required for the project.

  • Critical business requirements will be listed in the RFP and sent to vendors. It is both expected and desired that no platform handle all of the functions natively. Instead, many should be handled by best-in-class vendor partners.

  • Through a process of several meetings with vendors, RMW will assist the company in down selecting to two platform vendors. This will help narrow down the decision and focus on the critical strengths and weaknesses of the top two vendors.

  • The final platform selection will take place after several meetings with key stakeholders. A scorecard is used to grade the two final platforms. Decision criteria is decided based on the requirements listed in the RFP.

  • Contracting with the chosen vendor will be finalized during this stage. Discussions with agency partners will launch.

  • Following the selection of its preferred technology platform vendor, we will also select an experienced agency team in order to assist with the company’s journey. A contract will then be executed with the chosen partner.

We also dive into the capabilities of the people that will be using the platform, specifically merchandising and marketing. Understanding the content pipeline with a marketing and merchandising focus is super important when developing an RFP.

  • RFP Development

    An RFP allows you to have a clear picture of exactly what you’re wanting when you present this to vendors. It helps you narrow down the selection of vendors to really zone in on the right fit for your business. It also makes it easier on the agency when you present them a detailed proposal of timelines.

  • Agency or Platform Selection

    Choosing the right vendor is not just about the vendor itself. It’s about the ecosystem of solutions that are available with that selection. We then help you through the process including the selection of vendors to include, down-selection, and contract negotiations.
